When Exell Calhoun started Mississippi Bottled Water Company out of the well in his backyard in 1937, he had a simple goal in mind: to make it convenient for his friends and neighbors to have clean, great-tasting drinking water...
We don't like to brag, but we think you should see what some of our customers have to say:
"Our four boys are all grown now, and they are all wildly different personalities. One habit they all have in common is that they all are big on drinking lots of water. They drank so much when they were all living here and playing sports that we had to switch over to a filtration system. The oldest has two little ones and I laugh when I hear him saying, 'you don't need any juice, just drink water...'"
“Our office has been with Exell since it was Mississippi Bottled Water some 25 years ago. With all the things you have to worry about day in and day out, one thing we never had to spend a second debating is the decision to go with a homegrown company like Exell. The water tasted great, the cooler never broke down, and our driver never failed to be polite, respectful and on time.”
Federal Judge (ret.)
"I've been an office manager for a long time, but it never ceases to amaze me how much of an impact good coffee has on the mood of an office. And how much of an impact bad coffee can have. People got a lot nicer to one another after we signed up for coffee service from Exell. Chris makes sure he knows what everybody wants, and that everybody gets what they want. Believe me, that is not insignificant."
Here's another testimonial we can add to the site:
"Bottled water delivery is a necessity for my business, but I don’t have to worry about adding it to my to-do list. Exell takes care of me!"

We never get tired of talking about water filtration and purification. Just in case that's not your idea of a party, here are some more frequently asked questions:
What is it and how does it work?
That's a big question. Please head to our Learning Center and search for water filtration to get the big picture idea. We offer systems based on both microfiltration and reverse osmosis mechanics.
Why should I rent from you instead of buy my own?
While there are low-priced units available at big box stores that promise of easy installation and great quality, our experience tells us that these systems are difficult to install, and the ones that work well cost a good deal of money and require upkeep.
Which system should I get?
We recommend everyone go through the process of having a site survey and water quality test with a staff expert to answer this question in earnest.
Is water from an RO system bad for your health?
While there are some persistent rumors to this end, the truth could not be further from this thought. On the contrary, water that has been purified by an RO system is routinely the cleanest water you can find.
